On 10 June 2021 at 4pm the Maastricht Young Academy is hosting a Growing Up in Science event about mentoring at UM as a part of MYA's initiative on Academic Citizenship. Over the past few months we have collected stories about good and not-so-good mentoring, and have gathered many suggestions on how to improve mentoring at our institution. On 10 June we will shortly present the results of our questionnaire, which will be followed by a panel discussion by several MYA Members. The panel will discuss questions such as what good mentoring could be, and share tips and tricks on how to create new and improve existing mentor relationships. There will be plenty of time to have a conversation with all attendees on these questions too.
