Dress code

Global Studies does not have a particular dress code for the closing ceremony. All third-year students will be seated together in the front rows of the room and will receive a personalized Global Studies stole they can wear.

We do not expect you to wear the academic dress during the celebration. However, if you would like to wear the cap and gown during the celebration, you can order a set from the Caps and Gowns company. The faculty has an agreement with this company to make sure all students are wearing the same caps and gowns.

Graduates who wish to wear a cap and gown during their graduation ceremony can purchase it using an order form:

Click here to order your cap and gown

You will receive a black cap and gown and a green tassel with a customized Global Studies tag. Students can choose to order a single tassel as a keepsake as well. All details about prices and shipping/pick up options can be found on the order forms. The order form will close on 9 June 2024, so make sure to order you cap and gown before this date.

Please note that the faculty is not responsible for services purchased through the Caps and Gowns website.
