Individual career counselling

Do you have doubts about your study choice and would you like to know what to do next? Are you curious about the competencies you have, and would you like to know how to present your qualities during an interview? Or are you not sure which direction to take after graduation, and are you eager to explore which job suits you best?

The career advisers of UM Career Services are specialised in the area of study and career choices and the job market. They can help you with all your career-related questions.

How does career counselling work?

Career counselling starts with an initial consultation. Optionally, you may have one to three follow-up appointments. The adviser will coach you. However, you will be set to work mostly through homework assignments. The aim is to support you in finding your own answers.

Timeslots for career counselling are added weekly, so please check our website regularly. The waiting time for career counselling is currently longer than usual. In the meantime, you can sign up for a Quick Career Advice or training or make use of the Online Career Modules on Canvas.

Our offer is for all UM students. We kindly refer PhDs to the Staff Career Centre.
