Sports Council MUSST
The guiding body for the student sports associations is Sports Council MUSST (Maastricht University Student Sports Council). Sports Council MUSST provides assistance to the student sports associations regarding various administrative and governance issues. The council can also grant funding requests for tournament participation, event organisation and sports equipment.
UM SPORTS, Sports Council MUSST and the student sports associations work together to ensure a high-quality, diverse and affordable sports programme, making the sporting experience in Maastricht unparalleled.
UM SPORTS membership and association fees
To join one of the student sports associations, you need a ‘Sports’ membership with UM SPORTS that is valid for a minimum of one semester (a monthly membership does not qualify). There is also a separate membership fee for joining each student sports association.
