On Wednesday 30 November, Jeroen van Merriënboer passed away at the age of 64. He worked as a Professor of Learning and Instruction in the Department of Educational Development and Research. From 2009 to 2020, Jeroen fulfilled the role of research director of the School of Health Professions Education (SHE).
