For graduates of Maastricht University

Another successful edition of the UM Star Lectures

On Thursday 6 February, hundreds of Maastricht University alumni joined the sixth edition of the UM Star Lectures. This lecture series took place in 14 different cities in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, the United Kingdom and France.

The professors gave lectures on socially relevant topics, ranging from big data to migration and from your retirement to nutrition. After that, it was time for drinks and catching up with fellow alumni.

Our widely spread alumni circles and highly committed graduates organise workshops, visits and informal get-togethers on a regular basis; the annual UM Star Lectures are the so-called icing on the cake. The large number of attendees is another proof of the warm connection that the university has with its alumni community.
