Prof. Lisa Waddington delivered two seminars while visiting the School of Law of Leeds University
Prof. Lisa Waddington delivered two seminars on the 21st and 25th of October 2016 while visiting the School of Law of Leeds University as a visiting professor.
Her first presentation at the School of Law at Leeds University was entitled "Interpreting and Domesticating the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities: A Comparative Analysis of the Role of Courts”. In addition, during an informal round table on the topic "EU Disability Law and Policy: Past, Present and Future?" at the Centre for Disability Studies of Leeds University, Prof. Waddington delivered a second presentation entitled "The ‘Law Looking Outward’: The Past and Future of Legal Research on Disability and Disability Law and Policy in Europe.
