Special Professor of Shifts in Private and Public Regulation
As of 1 July, Niels Philipsen (METRO, Faculty of Law) will divide his working time between Maastricht University and the Erasmus School of Law in Rotterdam. He will be appointed special Professor of Shifts in Private and Public Regulation, for one day per week at the Erasmus School of Law. He will be working on the inter-disciplinary research project ‘Shifting from Welfare to Social Investment States: Privatization of Work-Related Risk Control’, in which lawyers, sociologists and economists participate. Niels will continue his work at METRO for 4 days per week.
