Open Day UM SPORTS

UM SPORTS is for everyone! That is why we are organising an Open Day which will take place on 14 January 2023. The goal of this Open Day is to let everyone  get acquainted with our sports offer free of charge. For example, you can get a tour of the University Sports Centre, take part in a sports activity or simply acquire information about UM SPORTS. In addition, every visitor will receive an extra free day pass (worth €10) valid for the rest of January.

Everyone is welcome and everyone become a UM SPORTS member, also (and especially) if you are not an employee or student at Maastricht University!

Memberships and rates

Memberships

At UM SPORTS, you can buy a membership for a day, a month, or for a(n) (half) academic year. An academic year always runs until 31 August. You can also choose from different types of memberships, depending on which sport(s) you want to do. We offer a Gym membership, a Sports membership and an All-in-one membership.

 More information about our memberships

Rates

UM SPORTS has different rates for different member groups. This is because we are partly subsidised by Maastricht University (UM). UM students therefore pay the lowest rate (1) then come UM employees (2), followed by MUMC+ employees (3), among others. Our regular, 'commercial' rate is rate (4).

 Check our rates

During the Open Day, we will be happy to explain more about our memberships and fees.

About the University Sports Centre

The University Sports Centre (USC), located opposite the hospital in Randwyck, is UM SPORT's main location. It is the venue for all our indoor sports. The USC has a large sports hall, two smaller sports halls, a Spinning Studio, and a Body & Mind Studio. We also have a modern gym of no less than 1000 m2(!), 3 squash courts and an 11-metre-high climbing wall.

Additional facilities

You can also visit our in-house sports café (opening January 2023!) for a nice cup of coffee, snack, lunch or drinks, and there is a physical therapist based in the premises who can help you not only with physical aches and pains, but also with your overall lifestyle.

We are open 7 days a week (holidays excluded) and you can always park for free (bike and car) right in front of the building.

You are always welcome!

Can't make it to the Open Day, but are you nevertheless interested in what we have to offer? You are always welcome! It is always possible to take a trial lesson or try out a few sports with a day pass (€10). Please send an e-mail to umsports@maastrichtuniversity.nl or just drop by.
