Pain Science in Motion IV

Every two years the Pain Science in Motion congress is organised to increase awareness on the relevance of pain. The focus of this research colloquium is on research methods in pain sciences, rather than on research findings or (clinical) applications of research findings from pain science.

The conference is jointly organized by the Pain in Motion international research group, the department of Rehabilitation Medicine, Research School of CAPHRI, Maastricht University, and the Center of Expertise in Rehabilitation and Pain Adelante/MUMC+.

The focus of the conference is Pain Science in Motion and links back to the relevance of pain. The pedagogical content and structure of the conference is built on an active learning approach for and from the PhD researchers. All presentations within the program focus on the methodological part of the research process, as opposed to results only. The program will be built primarily on the active participation of PhD researchers, who will have the opportunity to give an oral presentation or an interactive poster presentation. The congress aims at inspiring young researchers in the field, which is achieved through several keynote lectures, meet-the-expert sessions and meet-your-peers sessions.

Participants will be able to register to participate in a social activity which will not only be a lot of fun but also will provide them with the possibility to network.

The colloquium will be held at the Crown Plaza in the center of the city Maastricht in the Netherlands.

Please find more information about the conference here.
