"Artificial intelligence for imaging in immunotherapy"

Immunotherapy is currently given to cancer patients in advanced stages. As the disease has spread across the body, radiological CT scans remain the only tool available to examine all organs. This system is complex, time-consuming, and incompatible with the fast-pace treatment decision-making needed for advanced-stage cancer patients. This thesis proposes the use of artificial intelligence in the examination of imaging in advanced-stage patients receiving immunotherapy, making maximal use of the information contained in a CT scan.
