Live lecture: Information Retrieval and Text Mining

Big data is exciting, but nothing is more exciting than unstructured big data. This is where the field of text mining and information retrieval focuses on.

Learn what algorithms are shaping the search technology of the future. Learn how to find relevant information without knowing exactly what you’re looking for, or finding what apparently isn’t there.

This lecture is taught by Professor Jan Scholtes, extraordinary chair of Text Mining at the Department of Data Science and Knowledge Engineering and Chief Scientific Officer of ZyLAB. He teaches the master's course Information Retrieval and Text Mining, which is taught in the master's programmes in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science for Decision Making.

This event is part of the DKE Virtual Tour and open to students considering to enroll for the master's programmes in Artificial Intelligence and/or Data Science for Decision Making.

Registration for this event has closed.
