"Advancement in cVEMPs"

By applying standardization techniques, this study succeeded in significantly reducing the variability of the cervical vestibular evoked myogenic potential (cVEMP), comparing different standardization methods for the first time in literature. Further studies in this thesis show that it is possible to demonstrate the progression of Ménière's disease on the affected side and that this progression does not appear to be present in patients with vestibular migraine. Furthermore, by increasing the stimulation speed, it is possible to achieve substantial reduction in test time and effort without adversely affecting the outcome of the test.
