MSP - Introduction Period

The MSP Introduction Period is mandatory for MSP students as it gives you all the necessary information to successfully start your studies at MSP. This year the MSP Introduction Period is spread over three days: August 28 – August 30.

During the MSP Introduction Period, you will be familiarized with the Maastricht University teaching method PBL (Problem-Based Learning), tradition of Liberal Arts and Sciences, different offices at MSP and our lab facilities at the Brightlands Chemelot Campus.

You will also get to know the university, electronic facilities of Maastricht University and the city of Maastricht. Moreover, it is a great opportunity to meet your fellow students and MSP staff! The final programme will be sent to you in a few weeks.

Please confirm your participation in the MSP Introduction Period by clicking the green button on this page.

At Maastricht University we like to abbreviate streetnames. To get you acquainted with the UM-jargon we've set up a small list to get started:

KAP2 - Kapoenstraat 2
LEN14 - Lenculenstraat 14
MBB6A - Minderbroedersberg 6A
TS53 - Tongersestraat 53

You will also receive an email with the programme and more details regarding the introduction days

Please note that this programme might be subject to minor changes

If you would like to get to know the Maastricht student life, you can join the INKOM. The INKOM is the social introduction week for all freshmen of Maastricht University and Hogeschool Zuyd. In four days you will get acquainted with the city that will be your home city for the next few years.

The INKOM is entirely voluntary, and does not replace the MSP introduction period.

Curious? Check out the INKOM website: www.inkom.nl
