The Scannexus imaging centre will present three of the world’s best ultra high-field MRI scanners (3 Tesla, 7 Tesla and 9.4 Tesla scanners). These machines are capable of producing detailed images of the human body. Guided tours will be offered throughout the day. In the auditorium, the organisers will hold presentations and screen films continuously throughout the day. While parents explore the exhibitions on offer, children can try their hand at exciting tests and daring experiments during Mad Science. A colouring contest will also be held for children aged twelve and younger.

The Imagine the Valley open day will be held congruently with the MUMC+ open day to allow visitors to attend both events. The MUMC+ open day will be held from 13.00 to 19.00.
