Westminster is home to some of London's most famous landmarks such as the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Hall, the Jewel Tower, and Westminster Abbey. However, whether you're new to London, or have lived in the city for years, there are stories waiting to be told.

It's our pleasure to invite you to join fellow Maastricht alumni to a guided tour of Westminster, to learn the stories behind the landmarks, while socialising and getting to know your fellow alumni in a relaxed environment. Naturally, partners and friends are welcome to join as well.

After the walk we will have a much deserved sit down for some refreshments at the Sanctuary House Hotel pub.

What: Guided walk; Old Westminster - 1000 years of history
When: Saturday, June 11th
Where: meet outside exit 4, Westminster Tube station at 1.45PM (the tour will start at 2PM)
How much: £8 per person for the guided walk, to be paid on the day. Maastricht University alumni office has kindly offered to sponsor 2 drinks per alumnus/alumna (partners and friends not included).

If you are unable to join for the walk, please feel welcome to join us at the pub from 4PM onwards. If you intend to join the walk, please confirm your attendance by email:  alumni@maastrichtuniversity.nl or by phone   (+31 43 388 5221).

All alumni known to be living and working in London have been invited. Unfortunately we do not have contact information of all alumni who live there. If you know other alumni who perhaps have not received an invitation, please pass the message on; they are of course welcome to attend the activity and register with the Alumni Office.
