Preventing Nuclear Terrorism
In 2009 President Obama called nuclear terrorism one of the greatest threats to international security.
On March 24 and 25 the Netherlands will host the world's third Nuclear Security Summit (NSS). Some 60 government leaders (including Obama) and representatives from international organizations will come to The Hague to discuss measures for improving global nuclear security and preventing nuclear terrorism.
Tonight Anita Nilsson, one of the participants of the summit, will give us an update of the results and their impact. How can we ensure that nuclear material is never accessed, and above all else, never stolen by terrorists for their malicious purpose, and at the same time ensure continued contribution to development?
