M.L. Lisiecki
Manon Lisiecki is an early stage researcher for C-PlaNeT, Circular Plastic Network for Training. This project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant agreement No. 859885.
Manon is ESR 3 within the project, working on ‘Product Design for Circularity’,
Her PhD is a joint program between the Circular Environmental Impact (CEI) Research Group, Department of Sustainability at Denmark Technical of Denmark (DTU), and the University of Maastricht, Faculty of Science and Engineering (FSE), in the research group Circular Plastics within the department Circular Chemical Engineering (CCE).
As a guest PhD in the Circular Plastics team, she will focus on structure-property-processing relationships in inks and flexible plastic packaging.
With her research, she aims to increase quality and quantity in recycling of plastics with a strong link between design, plastic circularity and sustainability assessment.
- Plastic packaging and Design for for circularity
- Links between plastic material properties, material functionality, product design
- Material Flow Analysis of plastic production, waste collection and recycling
-
Identify requirements for circular plastic materials and plastic products
-
Systematic evaluation of plastic materials, product design compatible with recycling solutions.
-
Sustainability evaluation and Life Cycle Analysis (LCA)
