Nele Raskin (N.)

Biography:
Nele Raskin (1997) obtained her MSc in Business Economics, with a specialization in public policy, at Hasselt University in 2020. Following her graduation, she worked as a research associate at the Department of Economics and Public Policy (UHasselt). In September 2021, she started working on her Ph.D. in Health Economics at Maastricht University. As her position is interfaculty, she is active at the Department of Health Services Research (HSR) of the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences (FHML), and the Department of Data Analytics and Digitalization (DAD) of the School of Business and Economics (SBE).

Research interest:
Nele’s current research interest focuses on patient preferences in medical decision-making in multiple disease areas. Her other involvements include being: (1) a working member of the OMERACT working group on "Patient Preferences to Value Health Outcomes in Rheumatology Clinical Trials (PPRCTs)”, and (2) a Board member of Maastricht ISPOR-Student Chapter: 2021-2023.

In addition to these activities, she is also involved in education as a tutor.
