Sustainability Festival 2024
This year, our Sustainability Festival will be held at the Sustainability Hub organized by the Green Office and supported by SUM2030.
The community day will feature a variety of activities and events all at the Sustainability Hub between 17:00 and 23:00. We will have Green Organisations hosting activities and the Green Office opening our Hub Circularity Projects.
There will be DJs, workshops, art exhibitions, and more. You can learn new skills and gain valuable knowledge on sustainability-related topics. Attendees can enjoy food, drinks, and music, creating a wonderful atmosphere to connect with others and celebrate our sustainability initiatives at UM.

Ready for an evening of fun, creativity, and community spirit at our annual Sustainability Festival? Whether you're a plant lover, food enthusiast, or just in it for the good vibes, we've got something for everyone.
Come and Go as You Please!
Feel free to drop in for your favorite parts or stay for the whole event — the choice is yours!
What’s Happening?
🌱 17:00 - 18:00: Kick things off with our hands-on Planting Workshop in the Community Garden. Green thumbs optional!
🍲 18:00 - 19:30: Enjoy a potluck dinner under the sky. Food Coop will provide a limited amount of food, so feel free to bring your favourite dish to share, and don’t miss out on our potato salad!
🎵 From 19:30: Groove to the beats from local DJs in the living room, courtesy of the Love Foundation.
🔄 Entire Event: Swap till you drop at our Clothing Swap Room. Bring clothes you’re ready to part with and find something new-to-you!
🚲 Entire Event: Got bike troubles? Head over to our Bike Repair station where Wilder will help fix your ride for free.
🖼️ Entire Event: Explore vibrant art at Josie’s Art Exhibition upstairs which showcases repurposed materials to explore nature, culture, and progress.
Special Treats
🍹 Grab a Refreshing Drink on Us! A limited number of free drinks will be available to get the evening started right—arrive early! You are also encouraged to bring your own drinks!
Wrap Up the Night
🕚 23:00: We start winding down, but feel free to linger a little longer. We’ll be closing doors at 1 AM.
This festival is more than just an event; it's a chance to connect and share with neighbors and friends in a relaxed setting.
