About us
Are you a non-Dutch national and will you soon be employed by Maastricht University? Maastricht University is keen to provide its international employees and their family members with a warm welcome and a good start to their stay in Maastricht or its surrounds.
Part of the university’s People & Development department, the International Staff Support Office (ISSO) is happy to offer you its services. We will assist you with various procedures that are required to work and live in the Netherlands legally. We can also provide you with further information on a variety of topics you might encounter when moving to and living in the Netherlands.
The People & Development department will inform ISSO about your employment contract at UM. ISSO will then guide you through the following procedures where relevant.
